Bricks4Kidz provides a fun and exciting hands-on approach to learning concepts of engineering, architecture and physics through the use of LEGO® bricks. Our motto is “We Learn, We Build, We Play”. Our projects help foster creativity, problem solving, and cognitive skills. Children will work in a team environment, build self-confidence, and build social interaction skills, while having lots of fun with their peers.

Meet the owners: Chris & Maria Howard are the owners of the Knoxville Bricks 4 Kidz. They launched mid-summer 2013, introduced After-School Programs in 10 schools in West Knox County that fall, and opened a Creativity Center at the Shops at Franklin Square in May 2014. Chris has had a lifelong passion for LEGO toys, with some of his artistic LEGO creations showcased at their Creativity Center. He enjoys teaching kids “cool techniques”, and is always impressed to see what “cool techniques” kids come up with on their own. Maria didn’t realize how many LEGO bricks she was marrying into but has a degree in Elementary Education, plans out the curriculum for our classes & events in Knoxville, and enjoys the opportunity to teach STEAM through LEGO building. Together, Chris & Maria are the proud parents of 4 kids, who have all grown up as part of the famly business.
