In-School LEGO® Building Workshops

When you want learning to stick, you make it fun. Bricks 4 Kidz was born out of this principle, and we stick to it in every one of our LEGO®-inspired programs.  A professional Bricks 4 Kidz instructor will arrive with lesson plans, presentation materials and all the LEGO® Bricks your students could want.

In our workshops, students will follow the Bricks 4 Kidz project and lesson plans to build working, motorized models. Throughout this process, they'll have to work together and develop a hands-on understanding of the material. 

This multi-sensory experience benefits students of all learning types while also enhancing their communication and collaborative abilities. Research has demonstrated that introducing spatial toys such as LEGO® Bricks into the classroom improves students' viewer transformation abilities, or their capacity to imagine another perspective to gain a new understanding. 

Bricks 4 Kidz in-school LEGO® workshops include lessons on robotics, space, exploration and invention, and we're always looking for more and better ways to help teachers bring learning to life.

Bricks 4 Kidz LEGO® Workshops

LEGO Workshop (Ages 4 - 10)

• 2 Hours
  
• $280 for up to 12 kids, additional kids $25/head
  • Additional same-day same-location consecutive workshops $200
• All taxes already included
• Includes 4 stations - Technic, Mosaic Plates, Brick Figures, & Creative Expressions.  Kids build in pairs and independently.

Technic Workshop (Ages 5 - 12)

• 1 Hour
• $230 for up to 16 kids, additional kids $10/head
  • Additional same-day same-location consecutive workshops $130 
• All taxes already included.
• Kids build in pairs and spend the hour building, playing, and enhancing a motorized LEGO model designed for movement

LEGO WeDo Workshop (Ages 5 - 10)

• 1 Hour
• $260 for up to 16 kids, additional kids $12/head
  • Additional same-day same-location consecutive workshops $160
• All taxes already included.
• Kids build in pairs and spend the hour on a motorized LEGO model which is attached to a laptop via USB.  LEGO WeDo software is introduced for further fun and exploration.

EV3 Mindstorms Workshop (Ages 8 - 12)

• 90 Minutes (1.5 Hours)
• $270 for up to 12 kids, maximum - due to equipment constraints
• Additional same-day same-location consecutive workshops $180
• Kids build in pairs (up to 8 kids) or trios (8 - 12 kids) on a motorized LEGO model which is connected to a laptop using Bluetooth technology.  EV3 Mindstorms software is introduced for further exploration.
