Enrich Learning With a LEGO® Coding After School Program

In a Bricks 4 Kidz LEGO® programming class, students will get a starter course in basic computer operation and file management, then move on to designing models using LEGO® Education's WeDo or EV3 elements. Once they've built their LEGO® Brick masterpieces, they'll get to write code and see their models come to life on screen.

We use the LEGO® MINDSTORMS® coding program in our robotics classes, allowing students to use the EV3 Programmer app to write code and transfer it to a robot using EV3 motors. Students will watch their robot faithfully follow the program they've written, even if it's not right the first time. As they develop additional skills and learn from their mistakes, the projects will get more complex and keep them coming back for more.
